World Humanitarian Day Celebration in Dodoma, Tanzania. Art in Tanzania, with the volunteers and interns, joins the symposium activities.
We express our gratitude to the Office of the Prime Minister (Policy, Parliament and Coordination) for recognising the contribution of ART IN TANZANIA in disaster preparedness.
As a member of DINGONET, I joined the nation in commemorating World Humanitarian Day on 19th Aug 2025 at Mabeyo Hall in Dodoma, under the theme of
Strengthening Global Solidarity and Empowering Local Communities.
The Guest of Honour, Hon. William Lukuvi, Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office (Policy, Parliament and Coordination), recognised the vital role of humanitarian and emergency service providers in touching lives, supporting communities, and contributing to key national policies.
The event also honoured organisations, frontline workers, and communities dedicated to saving lives. #WorldHumanitarianDay #HumanitarianAction
