Research and thesis work
Many participants, both students and graduates, are performing thesis work or research while participating in the Art in Tanzania programs. These tasks can also be completed in conjunction with internship placement duties.
Art in Tanzania team assists you in organising the inputs for your research work, including data, and arranging necessary local Tanzanian meetings to collect your information.

Antonio Verda Care Center
is a Community-Based Rehabilitation Centre based in Kawe, providing high-quality services to people with disabilities. The Antonia Verna Rehabilitation Centre focuses on Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Psychotherapy.
Most of these patients are of cerebral palsy, autism and mental disorders.
They’re taking care of these patients because a lot of people tend to have a stigma about children with disabilities.
This program has become highly popular among volunteers and interns.

Civil and Human Rights
The Tanzania Ending Child Marriage Network (TECMN) was formally launched in 2012 to respond to the absence of action on child marriage in Tanzania, and to provide a strategic platform to scale up interventions. Today, the network brings together 70 civil society organisations working across the country in the various fields impacted by child marriage. TECMN, coordinated by the Children’s Dignity Forum, provided expertise to the government regarding the development of the National Plan of Action to End Violence against Women and Children. They have also been instrumental in engaging the media, which led to a national debate on the re-entry policy of pregnant girls into education. The group remains active in advocating for the change of the Marriage Act. Together, they have become a strong, nationwide force for change.

Public-related works
Rapid Tanzania Response and Preparedness in Disasters-Tanzania (RAPID-Tanzania) is our non-governmental organisation partner. We deal with all disaster management activities encompassed in the disaster management cycle. i.e., Prevention and Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, Recovery, and Reconstruction.
