Philosophy Volunteering and Internship Placements

Art in Tanzania has 15-40 participants who assist in community work throughout the year. Participants come from all over the world. We also work with over 400 universities, offering placements for their students to learn to work in African programs.

Our philosophy studies volunteers and interns, who bring and develop leadership and organisational skills to help us coordinate and manage our operations.

You are responsible for addressing students’ weekly plans and reports, assisting with budgets and accounts, developing ongoing community programs, and initiating new approaches. You will gain incredible experience working on various African NGO  duties, sometimes in conditions where capacitation is limited.

You need to be resourceful and have a problem-solving attitude. As an NGO management intern, you will also play an active role in all projects undertaken by supporting other participants with any queries they may face, coordinating different departments to achieve shared goals, and holding team meetings to brainstorm ideas. Join the NGO management internship to work, lead, and grow, to help create real change in Tanzania, and to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Art in Tanzania has been collaborating to develop the EU area Volunteering and Internship Training.

Human Rights tasks

As any developing country Tanzania has several human rights related issues to be advocated. Tanzanian law itself covers most of the key international human rights demands but due to corruption and time to time poor and slow legal process the implementation of Human Rights issues may lack effort.

Advocating about Philosophy

Tanzanian people are not well aware of what philosophy means in a practical sense. The advocacy tasks target schools by educating students and multiplying the effort as the information reaches the families.
