Work alongside an international team to strengthen NGO project management, support local entrepreneurs, manage digital campaigns, organize events, and develop communication strategies that promote sustainable development.

Whether you are studying marketing, business, management, communications, media, or a related field, you will gain practical international experience while contributing to projects that create lasting social impact.

Every internship is tailored to your interests, skills, and study requirements. You will be allocated weekly tasks and responsibilities by team leaders and focus on individual or group projects. Depending on your background, you may work in one or several of the following areas: 

Digital Marketing & Social Media 

Help grow our international visibility through creative digital marketing campaigns.

Tasks may include:

  • Creating content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Photography and short-form video production
  • Storytelling and blog writing
  • Social media campaign planning
  • Marketing research and competitor analysis
  • Email marketing
  • Promoting volunteer programs and fundraising initiatives

Website Development & Optimization

Support the continuous development of our NGO websites by improving both content and user experience.

Possible tasks include:

  • Updating website pages and improving website structure
  • Writing SEO-friendly content
  • Optimizing user experience
  • Maintaining blogs and news articles
  • Google Analytics and website performance analysis
Media Production

Produce films and photographs that tell authentic stories about community development, document life in Tanzania and share our interns’ stories. Projects may include documenting:

  • Schools
  • Community projects
  • Women’s groups
  • Environmental activities
  • Hospitals
  • Volunteer experiences
  • Wildlife and landscapes
  • Tanzanian culture and daily life
