In Tanzania, there are different levels of nurses. There are: (1) community nurses, who undergo one year of training and are commonly known as medical attendants; (2) Enrolled Nurses (EN) with a two-year certificate; and (3) Registered Nurses (RN), who do at least a three-year diploma.

The visiting interns and volunteers will be placed according to their current study level, the internship demands of the school, and their preferences.

We offer placements of varying types and durations. As the program is ongoing, you can enter at any time for any term.

Commonly, nursing program participants combine local dispensaries and larger medical centres.
