Tarangire – Serengeti – Ngorongoro Safari
The three National Parks safari takes you to Tarangire, then to the Serengeti, and finally, a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. The safari is part of the Volunteer Africa sustainable travel programs. The task is to raise funds for the NGO community work, as we operate as a self-sustainable entity.
On the first day, we drive to Tarangire. This small national park is home to unique fauna due to the river that runs through it. The wildlife population remains high year-round. From Tarangire, we drive to Karatu town to find accommodation on the N’gorongoro rim.
On the second day, we drive to the Serengeti through the N’gorongoro rim and plains. We have a half-day to reach the central Serengeti, where big cats are found. Accommodation is camping.
The third day is a full-day Serengeti drive, followed by accommodation at the campsite.
We drive through the Serengeti and N’gorongoro plains on the fourth morning to view the game. In the afternoon, we descend to the Ngorongoro Crater. We will stay in Karatu town.
