Art in Tanzania and its sister organisation, Green Works Africa, have been developing communities in Tanzania since 1996.
The following is a summary of some of the main programs we have run over the years, in partnership with local entities and international NGOs.
Education Sector Partnerships
We are supporting education at all levels of schools. We support teaching efforts, renovate and build classrooms, and promote various new educational initiatives. Educational tasks include adult vocational training efforts.
In the Masai land of Karatu, we have built a school for Masai children.
Our partner schools form an extensive, close-knit network of more than 30 schools, with over 60,000 students benefiting from our work.
